"When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused."

About Me

I am an experienced Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapist (QCH) and International Coaching Federation (ICF) trained Coach.

I am passionate about assisting people to feel better about their lives, finding out what may be blocking them and finding ways to change and challenge those beliefs, helping them find what helps them move onward, regaining the control. I often see it as having the ability to use your own personal remote control.

I am honest, straightforward, and caring. I am known for my laugh and having fun, I am also very sensitive and understanding.

I have spent many years working with people who have needed a lot of support and I bring a lot of experience to my work as well as excellent training I have received along the way.

I work with people of all ages and am fully insured with an enhanced DBS. I am really happy to have a chat about how I may help you. I would love to hear from you, so please do get in touch for a no obligation chat.

I was brought up by the sea – I love it; the sound, the smell, the wildness and the calm, high tide, low tide, in it, out of it. In some ways it kind of represents my life. I have experienced many great highs and deep lows, there have been difficult undercurrents that have affected me deeply. I have had to learn and re-learn how to swim throughout my life – reaching out for help along the way. Although I no longer live near the sea, I try to get back to it when I can, it nourishes me.

What do my clients say?

“Margie has been a true mentor at guiding me to overcome my anxiety in all areas and I now feel exceptionally confident in facing day-to-day challenges that I once couldn’t face. Margie is very warm and made me feel very relaxed talking to her. I was comforted and encouraged throughout the process. Thank you, Margie, for all you have done for me.”

A - AGE 15

“I would like to say a big thank you – I know we haven’t quite finished our sessions yet, but looking back at where we were last summer, the change for A (and the rest of the family) has been huge. I can’t thank you enough.”
