About The Therapy

I have personally experienced the liberating and amazing effects of cognitive hypnotherapy. It completely changed my life. It helped me to reset old patterns of thoughts, beliefs and behaviour, it is really important for me now to pay this forward.

That is why I trained as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist to master practitioner level. The Cognitive Hypnotherapy approach includes NLP, Coaching, Parts work, EFT-tapping, EMI and Hypnotherapy.

I have also trained specifically in working with children, working with addiction, in AMDR (applied EMDR), which is a cutting edge approach for working with PTSD and Trauma.

If you would like to know more about how I can help you, get in touch and we can arrange an initial chat.  My aim is to find out the best way to work with you to get effective solutions to your problems, at a pace that suits you.

Research Stuff

“In September 2015 a pilot study was published in the Mental Health Review Journal. It recorded that, using 118 cases measuring the effectiveness of Cognitive Hypnotherapy for the treatment of depression and anxiety, 71% considered themselves recovered after an average of four sessions. This compared to an average of 42% for other approaches using the same measures (like CBT).”

This information was taken from the Research page of the Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy Practitioner Association (QCHPA) website.

What do my clients say?

“Before I worked with Margie I couldn’t even go into our park because I was so afraid of dogs. She helped me feel much calmer around dogs. We only chatted three times until I was feeling much better about dogs. Margie is very funny! I now have my own puppy!”

HF - AGE 7

“Margie made my daughter feel safe and secure from the start. They built a wonderful and fun relationship so they could work together to overcome my daughter’s dog fears. The techniques my daughter learnt has also helped her with different areas of anxieties too. We are very grateful for Margie and the work she did. Thank you!”
